We’；d like to welcome back Nataliemonogram pillow cases， the clever crafter and blogger behind Doodlecraft.？ Natalie decided that with the holiday season upon us， she would create her own special DIY wrapping paper using stencils.？ She browsed the new Holiday Stencil Collection and fell in love with the Christmas Ornaments Craft Stencil.？ She purchased some plain craft paper and then used the whimsical holiday pattern to add some personalized charm to her gifts.？ Here’；s the scoop on how to create DIY stenciled gift wrap.
Gather Materials： Start the stencil project by gathering all of the materials listed above.
Start Stenciling： Roll out the kraft paper on a smooth surface like a dining room table.？ Then position the stencil design on the kraft paper. You can secure the stencil in place using painter’；s tape (if necessary).？？ Pour your craft paint onto a plate or paint tray.？ Then lightly coat your roller or stencil brush with paint.？ Be sure to roll or brush off the excess paint onto your folded paper towel.？ The key to stenciling is using as little paint as possible.？ Too much paint will cause the design to bleed and smudge.？ Next paint the stencil design on the kraft paper.
For this project， Natalie used white craft paint.
Complete the Pattern：？ Allow the paint to dry a little and reposition the stencil so you can continue to paint the pattern on the entire surface. Once it’；s dry， you are ready to wrap!
Now let’；s take a minute to admire Natalie’；s stenciled wrapping paper!
Natalie had this to say about her stencil project， ”； They look sensational and totally unique! I could dress them up with ribbon or make them pop with glitter.”；

I am a farmer trapped in a city-person’s body, torn between love of urban and yearning to grow vegetables, keep bees, preserve food. I know there are a lot of us around.
When I was looking for an affordable space to buy in New York City, I devised strategies for envisioning how I might tailor the various spaces I was considering. I ended up teaching these strategies to several friends who were “stuck” when trying to design a new kitchen, study — any room at all; these simple approaches helped them unplug the creative flow of ideas, and ultimately find solutions to their design dilemmas.
